Russ has been in commercial real estate for over 27 years as an agent and broker. With a Masters Degree in Public Health Administration, Russ began his career in real estate in 1973 with Woodbury Corporation as a property manager of more than 60 major properties including hotels, apartments, retail centers, office buildings and industrial properties.
Much of Russ's work through the years has been consulting on larger projects such as the Delta Center, Hill Air Force Base, and the Jordan School District. Russ has also done extensive office and industrial sales and leasing as well as managing several real estate investment partnerships.
He has spent many years in volunteer positions in the National Association of Realtors (NAR), as well as local realtor organizations such as the Salt Lake Board of Realtors and the Utah Association of Realtors. Russ served as the President of NAR in 1997. He continues to serve on national and international committees related to establishing best practices in real estate in the United States and abroad. Russ is also actively involved in service in his community and church.
Russ was one of the original founders of Mansell Commercial Real Estate Services, Inc. and is currently its President. Some of the clients Russ has represented include Novell, Inc., Jordan School District, Swire Pacific Coca-Cola, Ernst & Young, The State of Utah and many others.
