Tyrel joined Coldwell Banker Commercial in 2011 as a Commercial Property Manager. He currently manages a diverse portfolio of properties in the Salt Lake City area.
Prior to joining the firm, Tyrel worked as a Facilities Manager for CB Richard Ellis on a large corporate account in Dallas, TX, where he was responsible for the management of over 1.5 million square feet. His portfolio included 13 floors of a high-rise office tower, several community medical clinics, a large commercial warehouse, and a health care campus comprised of a 240-bed hospital and four medical office buildings.
Tyrel’s professional real estate career was launched by completing a formal, 12 month, rotational leadership development program with CB Richard Ellis. During this program he gained in-depth experience in all aspects of commercial real estate management; including, acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, lease administration, strategic real estate planning, construction management, facilities management and general account management.
Tyrel graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Facility and Property Management. During his time at BYU he gained real estate management experience through several internships with companies such as Hyatt Hotels Corporation and Ensign Facilities Management Group. He also served in a Vice President role for the BYU Facility and Property Management Student Association and the Student Chapter of the International Facilities Management Association (IFMA). Tyrel earned the Facility Management Professional (FMP) designation from IFMA and is currently a Certified Property Manager (CPM) Candidate with the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM).
